According to Indian traffic and rush over highways at peak hours of work, a moderate size of the truck is preferable. In few metro cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Benglore, etc. trucks are not allowed on inter city roadways. So, keeping the vehicle not so huge will add on to its mobility over the town. Our firm would suggest you to have a max. of 40ft long truck on the moderate level.
This is totally the matter of concern to the client willing to invest in one. We are there to modify the interior into the kitchen as well as the exterior looks to be very attractive. So a second hand truck won’t be an issue. But the engine should be in running condition. The spare parts should not be dying of the machine. They should be in proper condition. The tyres should not be punctured like a million times. The rubber should be thick and should be testified. Thus new or old is your call. But primary condition is that; the trucks are supposed to be in working condition.
The designs provided on the site are a preliminary idea of what modifications one can make to turn an interior of the truck into a kitchen. The designs will be finalized after deciding the menu one needs to serve. The adjustments of stove and storage tanks, juicers and mixer grinders, microwave oven or long thick stoves, all depend upon the menu card offered by the owner of the food truck. Thus, designs are likewise modified into the one that is demanded by the customer/owner of the food truck. Hence, yes, we provide many designs for modifying the truck.
Yes, of course the menu will matter a lot. The way the truck is designed, the way it’s painted on the outer side, the way in which the internal arrangements are made and room for every single thing is taken care of; all such things depend upon the menu selected. I would suggest to draft a menu where through one equipment more than one thing is cooked. To keep fast food and Punjabi both on the same menu card is a bit difficult. But to club fast food with ice cream sure does make sense. And south Indian with Chinese is a good score on the board. Thus, selecting the best menu will serve the best.
The company is just taking initial baby steps in this food truck business. Our vision is to fulfil the picture of the truck the clients’ would dream for a start up business. And our mission is to satisfy them with the least expenditure with maximum outcome. So the company prefers to the point of not providing a truck in the initial stage.
Well, running all the appliances on the fuel of the truck will cost a lot. A generator is preferred for this purpose. As fuel is used for moving from one place to another, a generator/battery is a good idea for running the electronic appliances used for cooking.
According to the rules of the government, basic business tax will be asked for on the permissible basis. And if a particular place in the city is hired for the parking of truck, then municipal rent is also payed. If the place comes on the periphery of some playground, or stadium, or cinema hall, or school, or college, or any such public place then their rent is also asked for. But again, that will totally depend upon the city rules.
The company will only guide you towards how to present the business to the food and beverage department. The firm will also help you to take up subsidies and grants provided by the government. Issuing the license and registering for NOC if the vehicle is switched interstates for trade. Overall guidance and support will be provided but you yourself will have to go and get the licence done. It’s not a big deal though.
For a hotel it’s ambience and food quality are the only two things that attracts their clients. Now, food quality will be provided at its best possible level by the owner of the truck. The matter of concern left is its ambience. Internally, no customer will come to check. So the outer look will be the only thing to attract people around. Providing an eye catching outlook with creative graphics will do the magic. High definition work with no fallouts will make your truck look outstanding on wheels over the city.
